I have 10 years of experience tutoring students from middle school through college.  I specialize in tutoring math and statistics to high school and college students.  I also help students prepare for the ACT with individualized instruction and test-taking strategies.

I became a College Reading and Learning Association certified tutor while tutoring at Winona State Tutoring Services for three years.  When tutoring students, I focus on tutoring by example, helping students connect current problems to concepts they already understand, and giving students additional resources to better achieve their goals.

I have three years of experience teaching.  I taught Finite Math at Western Michigan University for two years and have been a substitute teacher in middle and high schools in the twin cities for one year.  I currently have a Short Call Substitute Teacher License in Minnesota.
